Albert R. Sementa

Albert R. Sementa represents clients in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, business law & taxation, estate planning, and estate administration. On M&A matters, Mr. Sementa is regularly engaged with all phases of a deal, from the preparation of a letter of intent, to due diligence, to the drafting and review of primary (i.e., stock and asset purchase agreements) and ancillary agreements, and up to and through closing and post-closing items.

Mr. Sementa also helps clients resolve a range of tax controversies, from Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits to county-level property tax appeals. In addition, he counsels fiduciaries of estates and trusts on the probate and distribution of assets, the preparation and filing of estate tax returns, and general estate and trust administration.

Mr. Sementa began his career in Big 4 public accounting in 2014, where he earned his CPA license and reached the level of Tax Manager at Deloitte LLP. During his time at Deloitte, he assisted multinational corporate and pass-through clients with federal and state tax compliance and consulting issues on matters related, but not limited to, income and sales tax nexus, tax controversy, state nonresident withholding, and real estate transfer tax.
