Andi Van Trigt represents clients through all stages of various real estate transactions and disputes, including the sale, acquisition, financing, development and leasing of raw and improved land, zoning and land use matters, agribusiness and real-estate related litigation. She has experience counseling businesses, individuals, developers, financial institutions, investors, and owners’ associations with a wide range of real estate needs.

Before joining the firm in 2015, Andi worked as a commercial litigation associate at William Mullen. In that role, she advised and represented corporate clients with real estate, land use and construction matters, contract disputes, municipal liability issues and general commercial litigation.  Andi’s experience and interest in litigation sharpened her abilities to identify and address legal risks early, evaluate all sides of an actual or potential dispute, draft agreements and other legal documents with clarity and precision, and anticipate how courts and opposing parties might interpret those documents — all skills that make her a more effective advocate and advisor for her real estate clients today.

While in law school, Andi completed internships in the office of the Honorable W. Allen Cobb, Jr., Chief Resident Superior Court Judge in New Hanover County, in the District Attorney’s Office in New Hanover County, and with the family law firm of Marshall & Taylor, PLLC, in Raleigh. She also became a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker in 2007.
